Fortune Favorites Masters Of Rome is a board game that allows players to take on the role of wealthy patricians in Ancient Rome. - Controlling the Economy: A player controls the economy by controlling a majority of the spaces in the Market and the Port.
- Raising an Army: A player raises an army by controlling a majority of the spaces in the Barracks and the Training Ground.
The game comes with the following components:

- 100 plastic pieces (representing patricians, legions, and buildings)
- 150 cards (representing events, laws, and characters)
- Money
- Dice
There are currently two expansions available for Fortune Favorites Masters Of Rome:
- The Rise of Caesar expansion adds new rules and components to the game, including a new type of piece (the Caesar) and a new victory condition (controlling the Rubicon).
- The Fall of the Republic expansion adds new rules and components to the game, including a new type of piece (the Barbarian) and a new victory condition (destroying the city).
